Do you know what happens when that happens?

Welcome to an adventure full of sweet and spicy hot moments. Growing spiritually is a walk that almost always includes hiking through unexplored territory.

Unfortunately, without faith, we won’t be able to grow spiritually; we stay stuck, dull and immature. Ouch!

Good news! Here are a few things that can help you grow spiritually.

I’ve learned that since everything we need and want God has already provided for us, all we need to do is to take hold of it!

How do we do that? We press in, hold on, until we make it our own!

I admit that I haven’t yet acquired the absolute fullness that I’m pursuing, but I run with passion into his abundance so that I may reach the purpose that Jesus Christ has called me to fulfill and wants me to discover.
— From Philippians 3:12 Passion

This year and its challenges have sparked my faith, rising to higher levels. You know what happens when that happens?

We get a spiritual boost. When faith is activated, it allows for higher levels of hope and expectation; we can believe God more!

Active faith can destroy doubt, and position us to receive in “real time,” making what we need or want, physically tangible (Mark 11:22-24).

Don’t you love it when you see results? I sure do.

Some of the things I’ve been waiting, longing, contending, and standing are finally here. More to come!

Check mark! I find myself making better choices, decisions, and acquisitions (that includes spending!).

I'm staying focused. Pressing in, holding on, allowing changes to become my own!

To grow spiritually, we need to be open (available) to allow God to change us. There's no need to strive for perfection!

In this adventure, God is already “working” that in us daily. He loves us; He will correct and disciplines us.

The secret to this adventure calls for close encounters that leads to transformation. It’s ready with instant and progressive results.

Oh yes, nothing like having a close and personal relationship with the Fabulous Three.

  • It is an intimate relationship with the Heavenly Father, following Jesus (this being our lifestyle), and allowing the Holy Spirit to work and flow through us.

On one hand, we should expect to walk a life of blessings, peace, joy, love, favor, prosperity, promotion, and success.

On the other hand, we can find ourselves hiking through challenges, tests, trials, and “impossibilities” that produce the kind of intimacy that leads to trust God more so until we can depend on Him completely.

I believe that every season and its transition have periods of spiritual trimming and growth. It is normal to go through growing pains while being transformed.

Like it or not, our body and soul (mind, will, and emotions) will have to conform.

I much rather have growing pains that lead to spiritual maturity than to stay in the painful state of a dull, immature and soulish life.

No matter how intense it can get, the pain cannot compare with the awesome rewards God has for us! Are you going through growing pains? Press in to carry on!

I much rather feel growing pain than stay stuck or inmature.

To “press in” means to apply power, pressure or to push through. We don't just apply any kind of power! God’s power.

His power makes us makes us strong. Also, it enables us to use our gifts, see miracles and many more wonderful things.

As God’s authorized users, we have dominion in this world to break free from fear, sickness, addictions, poverty, etc.

I hope you can see how important it is to know (understand) His power and what it does when it is at work in us.

There is no secret to power up. We must spend time with Him (in His presence, in worship, prayer, in His Word).

Power is found in Who God is and who we are in Him. A mighty woman is one who discovers who she is and understands where her power comes from.

When we press in, engaging and embracing in God’s presence, our perspective changes - transformation happens. We go from “Old You” to “New You.”

We also bring our desires, plans and ideas to the table; and so does He!

I often find myself fighting against distractions and diversion that tries to block the time I spend with God.

It's our choice how we use our time. We must push through. Empowerment begins with our relationship with God. Philippians 3:10. Be mighty, press in!

It is with God, in His presence, where we get a grip!
— John 7:29

To hold on or lay hold is to get a grip, grasp, dominate or comprehend fully. If we want to be changed and mature, we must get a grip or lay hold of God's Word and promises.

The Bible helps us to know and understand how God thinks, the way He does things, what He has planned.

Through God's Word, we get understanding and revelation of His will and purpose not just for us personally but for the role He has for us in this world, with humanity.

His Word empowers our prayers and declarations. When we boldly declare God’s Word, being totally sure that He is listening, we can also trust that we will see our petitions and requests happen. 1 John 5:14-15.

Think of God’s Word as one of the best three tools you can ever have to change situations and have victory. What are the other two? The Blood of Jesus and The Name of Jesus.

God’s Words can bring drama into our lives! God’s revelations and supernatural disclosures can be surprising, exciting, dramatic; other times bringing exposure, being sober and stern.

God already provided for everything we need and want. We just need to "grab" them through faith and with action.

I must say, this adventure has lots of happy surprises and an awesome ending.

This is a one-of-a-kind, God-enabled “practice makes perfect” journey full of interesting seasons.

We are enrolled in show-and-tell interactions until we can trust God completely.

It is a one-day-at-a-time approach, centered in God. When what we think, feel, say and do correlates with the way God is, thinks, and do things...

We are well on our way to own what already belongs to us. That’s what I’m talking about… being mature.

Have no fear! It's not about being picture perfect. God’s power enables us to live a godly (holy) life. 2 Peter 1:3.

Nothing like relying on our own behavior modification to end up in disappointment

Through Him, with activated faith, and God's power at work in us, we can run this race and finish well!

We must press in, hold on and make everything God made available for us (His Blood, His Name, His Word, His love, His power, His promises, His prosperity, His blessing, etc.) our own.

Jesus paid a very high price to make all of them available to us.

Power up mighty woman! This is how we grow up in spirit and truth.

We don’t want to miss out on His adventure all-ready for us.

Today, celebrate big! Trust God more and more...

Let’s rely in Him to the degree that our life upbringing, opinions, assumptions, and media influences can no longer command the way we think, feel, talk and act.

Stay focused on the truth. God will finish what He started in you and me too! Philippians 1:6

I want us to see things from God’s perspective, not mine, and act accordingly. Can you relate?

Love you 💝
