OMG! Somebody got instantly healed in a Real Estate office! Here is what happened to me.

Before I tell you my story, let me tell you quickly a little bit about healing and why it relates to you.

We all need healing; I think you already know that! Maybe it's not your body that needs healing, it's your mind or emotions.

You could have been under stressed or abuse; feeling like your mind is not functioning wholly. See! We all need healing of some kind!

  • To be mighty, you have to know who you are. To know who you are, you need to know what God says about you! He said: “You are healed!” By His stripes you are healed (See Isaiah 53:5).

The good news is that Jesus already provided for healing when He died for you. His resurrection made possible a New you - Healed!

Healing is part of the Gifts of the Spirit; these gifts are supernatural. Assuming you gave your heart to Jesus (See: How to change your life forever here!) the Holy Spirit (God’s Spirit) lives in you. That means you have His gifts – the Gifts of the Spirit in you.

In this case, the Holy Spirit gives you the supernatural power to restore and heal the mind or physical body.

  • God also included healing in the Gifts of the Spirit (See: 1 Corinthians 12:8-10) so you can also pray over yourself or others and be healed.

Sometimes the healing is instant, other times is progressive. Inside of you there is a mighty power - Holy Spirit that can enable you to heal the sick. It’s true. The question is: Do you believe it? To be mighty – you have to believe God!

A few years ago, while visiting a Real Estate office, the commercial broker on duty was complaining about his severe knee pain; his years of playing bowling had taken a toll on his knees.

He was a big man, one of those body types that look more like a triangle shape (very heavy on the top, his legs seem a lot smaller than the rest of his body).

He was talking about how his weight was making his knees even worse and his days were almost unbearable, he could barely walk or stand because of the pain.
I was standing in front of the copier machine when I heard the Holy Spirit say to me “pray for his knees”.

I assure you what I heard was not in an audible voice; there were a lot of busy people all around me that would have heard it too. I put down the papers and walked across to where he was sitting.

I asked him if I could pray for his knees. I also asked him if he knew Jesus, he said he knew “who he was”. I put my hand on his knees and said: “Be healed in the name of Jesus”. That was it!
I wish I could tell you I felt “something”, anything unusual, but I didn’t. I wasn’t sure if he did either as there was no reaction on his part.

I turned around, finished doing my copies and went into a different room. A few minutes later, I heard a commotion out there in the hallway and it was him jumping up and down, saying “I’m healed!”

He was literally moving so fast, it was unbelievable. “You healed me,” he said to me. With a big smile, I told him that Jesus did the “Healing”, not me.

I’m glad I was open to the Holy Spirit to use me.

One last thing on this story… Today I’m glad I didn’t feel anything unusual when I prayed, you know why?

When I pray for someone I’m not waiting for a feeling or to see how I feel in order to pray; I just do it. Will you be open for the Holy Spirit to use you?

God has made these supernatural gifts available to us so they can be used when they are needed. You will see yourself in a different “light” when you learn and flow in the gifts and abilities that God has provided for you.

Be mighty! Believe who God says you are. Be the the “light” when situations arise to help someone and bring glory to God.

for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
